Participants will learn about rainwater catchment system components, beneficial uses, appropriate collection surfaces, pre-storage filtration, and tank storage options. Presentation features pictures of rainwater catchment systems throughout Jackson County—large and small, rural and urban. Bring a calculator and your project ideas, including a site plan showing roof(s), possible tank locations and use areas (e.g. garden or landscape plants). Property elevation changes and roof angles are also helpful.
